William Willimon, the Bishop of the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church will be preaching in the Alexander City area on Sunday February 21^st at 5 pm at Flint Hill United Methodist Church. Willimon was assigned to the North Alabama Conference in 2004 and is serving is in his second term as Bishop of that conference. He has had numerous preaching engagements all over the country and is well known not only in Methodism but throughout the Christian community. Besides being a Bishop, Rev. Willimon is also a prolific author, writing over eighty five books dealing with the Christian faith and pastoral ministry. Prior to being elected as Bishop, Willimon served as the Dean of the Chapel at Duke University were he taught numerous religion classes.
